API Access

Programmatic access to Tokyo data

This site is also available as an MCP server — Anthropic's open protocol for connecting AI assistants to data and tools. Request a key below, and once approved you can use it from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or any MCP-compatible client.

What's exposed

• Ratings, confidence levels, and source provenance for all 1,493 stations
• Full station profiles: rent, transit, environment, livecams, multilingual descriptions
• Semantic search and find-similar in EN/JA/RU (multilingual-e5-large embeddings)
• Hybrid recommendations combining natural-language intent with hard filters

How it works

1. Submit the form. We generate an API key, hash it, and store the hash in our database.
2. Your request enters a pending state. We review for abuse before activating.
3. Once active, send the key as an Authorization Bearer header to city-rating.pogorelov.dev/mcp.
